I know the history, but not the real flavours or the experience .
Soul Food is a huge part of the history and heart of America.
But in 2011 has Soul Food lost its soul?
There’s only one way to find out – I plan to travel from Sydney, Australia to Harlem, USA.
Starting on the East Coast I will interview cooks in home kitchens and Soul Food cafes - authors of cookbooks, and consumers – for a book I am writing about Soul Food.
