Urban Menus Vienna - Speed

Based on typical street profiles of the city of Vienna, an urban 3D configurator was simulated and developed.

The result is an interactive and playful desktop app targeted at a broad audience. From neighbours, all the way to policy makers, this multi-layered Unity app is a tool to visualize, through static and dynamic cameras, possible future urban developments and their influence in the city’s quality of life.

To configure the scenarios two main variables were selected: Urbanity and Ecology. Different means of mobility allow players to wander about the urban environment like walking, riding a bicycle, traveling by bus or tram or being driven by car.
