In February 2011, we designed this building reactive projection installation for the Illuminate Yaletown Festival. Projected elements react in real time to buillding elements, creating a playful interaction of physical and virtual.
Programmed in Processing, we created several scenes, as well as a calibration mode which allowed us to draw the windows and fine tune the position to exactly match the actual windows on the 100 foot wide building.
The installation won second place in the annual light festival that takes place in Vancouver, Canada.

Thanks to AVW/Telav for supplying the big projectors.
