This project is inspired by "One A Day: 365 Views of the Cathedral of Learning" by Félix de la Concha which is a group of 365 paintings of the cathedral made during one year (2000-2001) while la Concha was staying in Pittsburgh, visiting his girlfriend. There is a permanent exhibit of the paintings at the University of Pittsburgh's Alumni Hall. I embarked on a similar photography project of another 360 views of the Cathedral.
The photos were taken over a period of approximately a month from late September to early November 2010. None of the photos is a 100% reproduction of a painting and none is digitally processed by Photoshop or a similar software.
