This is a three act satire of life in the days of George W Bush in small town America that I made in 2003. I was interested in distorting archetypes that I grew up with in children's programming like The Brady Bunch. I was really interested in Godard and Lynch and the possibilities and responsibilities the film maker has, especially when making children's television. This spoof was intended to be part dark comedy and part remapping of the hierarchical mythos propagated by the media and governmental institutions using the metaphor of the Sasquatch and the effect it had on the psyche of the various strange characters that inhabit the world of the Montana brothers.
This short film was shot entirely on location in the California High Sierra's and was intended to serve as the pilot for webisodic edutainment series that was never realized.
