The Arizona K12 Center at Northern Arizona University provides professional development in the areas of learning, leadership, and technology. It was founded in 1999 by Governor Jane Hull. She wanted a place dedicated to professional development for teachers.

The children in our classrooms today and the ones to come tomorrow are the reason the Arizona K12 Center exists. Our goal is to provide quality professional development for Arizona's K-12 teachers. We believe when we help teachers move their practice forward it is their students who are the ultimate beneficiaries. Bottom line...when we support teachers, we are supporting Arizona's students.

Our friends at Randy Murray Productions created this video for the Arizona K12 Center. We believe they captured the important role our work plays in making sure every child has a great teacher. We all need to pay attention to the quality of teaching and learning that is going on in our schools. We need to do so now because as this young girl says she "is not getting any younger."
