short film, Canon EOS 5D Mark II
‘Paperdoll’ explores human fancies that are governed by day-to-day images provided by the media. We live in a visual world that resets every 24 hours. Throughout our day, these visuals or images stick to our minds and eventually overcome our essence and bodies.
This film was shot in a period of 24 hours. Editing and additional post-production amounted to about 72 hours. The crew and I were very pleased by the final turnout, as we had no experience in directing or shooting, and had limited time to work with before the deadline of this scholarship.
