Aces and Kings is an alternate-history webcomic in which monarchies still hold significant power, matters of war are handled primarily by knights of the air, and the outlying regions are run by squadrons of outlaw pilots.
The story follows a young prince as his family is killed and country overrun by a brutal tyrant hell-bent on revenge, and his journey from the wastes of the Westerlands back to the capitol to overthrow the villainous Baron Drachen and restore peace to his kingdom.
Inspired by the Ace Combat series, as well as Top Gun, the Korean action film R2B, the short-lived NBC series Kings, and the Lion King.
