How glorious is God's Word, His promises through which we receive from him in faith. This event, The Day of Jehovah Tsaba, will demonstrate the glory of God's Word beyond anything God has ever done in the earth.
Pastor Don gives us insight into the glorious Word of God as he looks at “God, the Word. 1John 5:7 reveals the following:
1 John 5:7 AMP “So there are three witnesses in heaven: the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are One.”
God the Father, God the Word, and God the Holy Spirit, and each of these are a manifestation of the one true God – the Eternal – the Almighty. As the teaching progresses we see that prior to the Virgin Mary’s conception by the Holy Spirit, God the Word, had no bodily presence. The Word carried the “express image” of God for whatever purpose God needed. At creation, it was the Word that shaped and formed and sustained all of creation. God the Word directed what God the Holy Spirit (the power or energy of God) produced. Today, God the Word has a body. In that manifested presence, we know Him as Jesus (Heb. Yeshua). But we also another presence in existence of God the Word. It is the written Word of God. God the Word has also given us an eternal manifestation of Himself in biblical form. It is just as alive with God’s presence as Jesus was when He walked the earth, or as He now sits at the right hand of God’s Throne in Heaven.
Paul writes in Romans, we need not say, “Who shall ascend up to Heaven to bring Christ down to us. But the Word is nigh us, even in our mouth and in our heart, that is the Word of faith which we preach.” (Romans 10:6-8) Notice that he equates God’s written word in our heart and mouth, as equivalent to Christ Himself coming down to help us. We also read in Hebrews 4:12 that the Word of God is “alive and powerful.”
Pastor Don says, “Open the covers of your Bible and you are handling the most glorious thing in existence. You are looking at the glory of “God the Word.” Whatever He says, whatever He promises, always gets God’s “Yes” without exception or fail. He can never go against His promises because the words contain His own “express image.” Although we may not have perfect understanding sometimes, still we are making contact with “God the Word!”
If the Bible says “Nothing shall by any means hurt you,” we are beholding the glory of God in those words to keep us safe from every hurt or injury. “Not a thing… shall by any means…” is glorious. But it will only do for you what you perceive it to be. Whatever you measure it to be in terms of God’s glorious manifestation, will be what will be measured to you from that biblical manifestation of “God the Word.”
Mark 4:24 LITV “And He said to them, Be careful what you hear. With what measure you measure, it will be measured to you; and more will be given to you, the ones hearing.”
In other words, the degree of glory you attach to what God the Word is saying to you will be the determining factor of what you receive from God. Faith is simply the degree of validity you attach to God’s word (or God the Word).
