Each week, we are looking into the various aspect of God’s glory that is to be manifested in this last great period of the Church. Pastor Don continues his journey revealing the exceeding glory within God’s Word that will be manifested for the body of Christ – the Church – during this event from now until the rapture of the Church at the coming of the Lord.
We are speaking of the greatest event since God created Adam on the Earth according to scriptural dialog. After Moses brought the nation of Israel out of Egyptian bondage, God redirected their focus back on to the "source" of the event:
Deuteronomy 4:32-39 KJV (32) For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it? (33) Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live? (34) Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? (35) Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. (39) Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else."
The "greatest event since God created Adam..." Wow! What an event that was, yet this event is prophesied and compared by Haggai as even greater. Now in Haggai 2:5-9, He speaks of an event yet to come to the Church, in which he declares,:
"According (in a manner likened) to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt... For so says Jehovah of Hosts: Yet once (one more time), it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. (7) And I will shake all the nations; and the desirable thing of all nations shall come. And I will fill this house with glory, says Jehovah of Hosts (Heb. Jehovah Tsaba). (8) The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says Jehovah of Hosts. (9) The glory of this latter house shall be greater than that of the former, says Jehovah of Hosts. And in this place I will give peace, says Jehovah of Hosts.
So Haggai looks back at the deliverance of Israel that was proclaimed to be the greatest event since God created Adam, and then looks forward to this Church even as the prophet declares it to be even more glorious.
How glorious is God's Word, His promises through which we receive from him in faith. This event, The Day of Jehovah Tsaba, will demonstrate the glory of God in His Word beyond anything God has ever done in the earth.
Pastor Don gives us insight into the glorious Word of God as he looks at “God, the Word. 1John 5:7 reveals the following:
1 John 5:7 AMP “So there are three witnesses in heaven: the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are One.”
God the Father, God the Word, and God the Holy Spirit, and each of these are a expressions of the essence of the one true God – the Eternal – the Almighty.
This teaching also helps to bring understanding of the nature of the spirit, soul and body before and after the New Birth, and how to relate to that yet “unredeemed” part of our nature (the human nature yet darkened by Adam’s fall).
