SESSION 6: IN CONVERSATION WITH ARTIST NATALIE BOOKCHIN

Natalie Bookchin’s video installations explore new forms of documentary, addressing conditions of mass connectivity and isolation and exploring the stories we are telling about ourselves and the world. Using webcam footage and YouTube videos throughout her oeuvre, Bookchin poignantly uses video on the net and its revolving cultural, social and political terrain as material and inspiration for her work.

In an onstage interview format, this presentation will offer a conver- sation between Natalie Bookchin and Geert Lovink about online video and her artistic practice.
