From the UNH CCOM/JHC Seminar Series 2010-11, Substructure Inc.'s Thomas Reis presents, "Survey Platform Design Considerations and an Unconventional View of the Hydro World." The talk was given on Friday, February 18, 2011 at UNH's Chase Ocean Engineering Laboratory.
Tom talks about Substructure, Inc. and, specifically, about the operations of ORION, their custom-built hydrographic survey vessel. Substructure, Inc., provides marine industrial services to commercial and government organizations worldwide. Their state-of-the-art underwater capabilities include ultra-high-resolution hydrographic surveying and mapping, epoxy marine pile encapsulation, and corrosion control for structures and vessels. In addition, Substructure offers commercial diving, marine design and fabrication, ship husbandry and salvage, and archeological search and recovery services.
