Special Experiences: those moments when you are part of a small group experiencing something unique: Like when I was 20 years old in England serving in the USAF we each paid the equivalent of $4.00 in English pounds to go to a Led Zeppelin concert in a grade school gym. There were probably 150-200 people. Led Zeppelin were at the height of their careers. They played almost nonstop for three hours.
Or the time I volunteered for a Chamber committee the year end party was in the CEOs boardroom at the top of what was then the Ben Franklin tower - an evening with the founder Buzz Hazen.
Or the time on the beach in the Bahamas when I was playing touch football with my kids and Tommy Hit Man Hearns the boxer and several of his group asked if they could play what are you going to say to a professional fighter and three of his entourage? We played and it was fun until my son downed Tommy at the line three times in a row. He hit the roof.
We have all had unique experiences they stick in our memory we want more. I am one of the lucky people for the last eleven years my life has been packed full of special experiences. In the time we have together I would like to share a few of those with you My Life with Eli.
