One of my first films. No spoken dialogue; very abstract. An attempt to use plays on color, light, and scale to communicate tone... how it feels to go through a day in the life of a bartender.
It's funny how projects like this go, looking back at them. A small group of friends in San Luis Obispo helped me produce this film in June 2007. I learned a lot and feel it was an important first step for me at the time.
Had I to do it again, I'd probably knock it out in a couple of days and edit it in a few hours, shoot it on a dSLR and cut the budget by 70%!
Still very proud of the short film we produced and do hope to see its feature length version come to fruition someday.
