What does carbon pollution "sound" like? A graduate student at the UW Department of Atmospheric Sciences composed an answer to that question in what may be the first music video of its kind. With the help of her advisor, she turned the measurements of the rising levels of carbon dioxide in the earth's atmosphere into music. As the carbon dioxide levels rise, so does the pitch of the music. Which can make for an unsettling and unforgettable message.
