An Installation by Larry Yes
Radical Positivity is a meditation on color and joy and a celebration of goodness. Its simple focus is to shine a light on the positive with hopes to bring joy to those who see it. It was made for you!
Two years ago an epic windstorm took down a nice part of our backyard fence. My wife was pregnant and there was such a wonderful feeling in the air.
I started painting positive words on the fence boards in as many colors as possible. It felt so good and it filled my heart with joy.
Originally I put on a show similar to this titled Positive Words for All the People, a.k.a. The Diaper Fund Art Show.
It has seen many permutations and hopefully will see many more. I am always looking for more words and a fallen down picket. If you need any words look me up.
