During the webinar we dissect a contemporary RFP and explore opportunities to choose strong language for more effective purchasing and contract management. The presenters share creative and effective strategies to navigate trade, regulatory, and operational barriers to more effectively source foods that nourish patients and communities, while aiming to minimize the toll on the planet.
The presentations will focus on the sustainable procurement priorities of the Nourish cohort. Public participants are also welcome to complete a survey upon registration where they can weigh in with their own priorities.
i) Empower healthcare purchasers to take control of their supply chain and be more creative and strategic in how food budgets are spent, to create more value for the patient, organization, and community.
ii) Explore opportunities to work with your organization and suppliers to get more value from procurement, including through negotiations within existing contracts.
iii) Discuss priority areas of interest for more high value, strategic, and sustainable procurement in the health care sector, both within and beyond the Nourish cohort.
