Professional teacher and astrologer Alex Trenoweth discusses the general principles of using astrology to enhance the quality of children’s education. This webinar is designed for those with no prior knowledge of astrology as well as astrologers.
Jupiter, the planet of confidence and the leap of faith, shows when important growth stages take place.
Saturn, the planet of discipline, shows when and how the growing stages require more effort and discipline.
Drawing her many years of experience, Alex shows how, with just a few minor adjustments, parents and teachers can use simple astrology to help improve learning engagement, enjoyment of learning and reduce behaviour difficulties associated with boredom and lack of progress.
Alex Trenoweth, MA, DFAstrolS. MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from Bath Spa University. Alex is both a professional secondary school teacher and a globe-trotting astrologer. She used her observations in the classroom to write “Growing Pains” (2013), a book on astrology and education. In 2015, she was voted as the Best International Astrologer by the Krishnamurti Institute of Astrology (KIA) in Kolkata India for her innovative and ground-breaking research on astrology and adolescence.
After a short break from teaching to travel across the world to speak at astrology conferences, Alex decided that she was not ready to leave the classroom just yet and now divides her time between teaching children of all ages, writing and developing courses on how to use astrology to help make school a better experience for pupils, teachers and parents. Later in 2017, Alex will be returning to India to develop a curriculum for KIA to teach Western Astrology to Vedic astrologers. Her next book, The Wolf You Feed, examines significant Saturn transits.
