ABOUT THE DIRECTOR: Madagascar-bred, South Dakota-brewed, Kightlinger has directed award-winning short films and two feature films. He recently won the 2016 Slamdance Screenplay Competition. His films have played at festivals such Palm Springs Short Fest and San Diego Comic-Con.
Kightlinger received a B.A. in International Politics and French before earning an M.F.A. in Film from Boston University. Worked at The Kennedy/Marshall Company. Currently sits on the Board of the South Dakota Arts Council.
