Every year, twirlygurl and her sister host a crawfish boil for their father, a native of Baton Rouge. They fly up crawfish from Louisiana to New York, 150 pounds in this case, and invite a bunch of friends and family to celebrate.
In this video, we're going through one of the 30 lb boxes, picking out all the live crawfish. You always have a few dead ones, so you need to take those out before cooking the others along with corn on the cob, onions, potatoes, and garlic. So frickin' awesome.
