The best way to know a city is to walk through its streets, with your eyes ready to store every little glimpse, every perfume and every sound, that can be turned into wonderful memories. This is what the three protagonists of the documentary “Streets of Budapest” did. This event brought Astoria to the Hungarian capital in anticipation of World of Coffee (WOC), the key event for the world of global specialty coffee.
The video is a tribute to the two worlds, art and coffee, that saw Astoria as the sponsor of the World Latte Art Championship (WLAC) and World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship (WCIGS) for three years in a row. Riccardo Comaron, a member of Astoria's Marketing Office, representing in Budapest the world of professional coffee machines, will be joined by Hungarian street artist Gergely Void and the 2016 WCIGS winner, Michalis Dimitrakopoulos.
In this first part of the video, the protagonists will meander through Budapest to learn about the Hungarian coffee tradition, and, a bit more in depth, the universe of specialty coffee shops. This journey will be lived through the passion and experience of Michalis Dimitrakopoulos, a real expert in quality coffee.
