Joyaumaton
Celia Hsu & Kris Madden
The Joyaumaton is a proposed installation at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs. The proposal investigates a way to attract more visitors to the Galerie des Bijoux, provide those visitors with more context, and bridge the physical space that separates pieces in the two gallery rooms. The proposed installation is an augmented photobooth which allows the visitors to try on pieces of jewelry from the collection and print their photo. Also contained on the printed photostrip is information about the piece and a short fact about the materials or motif that helps visitors connect it to another piece in the collection.
