Dr. Emille Davie Lawrence is an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of San Francisco. One of her passions is broadening participation in the mathematical sciences by mentoring and outreach in various nationally recognized programs, such as the Enhancing Diversity in Graduate Education (EDGE) Program for Women and the MSRI-UP summer program for undergraduates. As a self-proclaimed Math Coach, she loves talking about mathematics to a wide range of audiences to promote its beauty and accessibility.
