In the late 1930s a group of friends from Wheelock and Middlewich travel by train, car and pushbike out into the Cheshire countryside to enjoy an August Bank Holiday. This short and sweet little film chronicles their adventures, to the accompaniment of some classic 1930s music, including the appropriately named 'I'm Happy When I'm Hiking' by Albert Whelan. Post production and music editing by Dave Roberts. Produced by Mid-Cheshire Amateur Cinematography Society. Part of the Roberts Collection in the North-West Film Archive.
