Dr. Don G. Pickney first unveils the various shades of light by which believers' faith is currently functioning, along with how shadows of doubt are affecting the outcomes of faith's ventures in the Church. Then, he gives hope and encouragement as he points to The Day of Jehovah Tsaba (Lord of Hosts), a time when Isaiah prophesies of the Church:
Isaiah 60:1-6 LITV Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of Jehovah has risen on you! (2) For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples. But Jehovah shall rise on you, and His glory shall be seen on you. (3) And nations shall walk to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawning. (4) Lift up your eyes all around and see; they are all assembling; they are coming to you. Your sons shall come from far away, and your daughters shall be supported on the side. (5) Then you shall stand in awe and be filled with light; and your heart shall tremble and be enlarged. For the abundance of the sea [rich sea trade and the wealth of nations] shall be turned to you; the wealth of nations shall come to you."
During this great season of God's sovereign plan, God's glory will bring the body of Christ into a period of brightness that their faith will work as "the light of the noonday sun." (Proverbs 4:18)
