Client - JP Morgan Chase
Role - Producer
Agencies - ESA Films London, Sullivan NYC
JP Morgan Chase commissioned an ambient video piece to play in the foyer of their annual shareholders meeting in NY. The brief stated that it was to be projected on to a screen 90ft wide by 10ft tall above the foyer.
The client wanted to base three films around one hypothetical customer each, all with unique needs from their wealth managers. The story was conveyed through on screen text, while the every day context for the clients was played in the background, giving the impression of the wealth managers work happening without the clients intervention, allowing them to get on with their lives.
As producer my role was to consult and liaise between the venue AV team, Sullivan NYC and our shoot and post crew. Working around different time zones we worked out the technical issues of shooting and displaying in an unconventional format and were able to shoot with those post issues in mind.
The AV projection team did a great job of doing our footage justice, and the result is a promo that is not only informative, but beautiful, even when played repeatedly.
