On March 28th, 2011, I participated in a New Racers School hosted by Pacific Track Times. It has been 21 years since I have held any type of license to compete on a motorcycle. Despite the setback through winter (getting hit by a car can do that), I managed to successfully complete the course, despite some lingering pains as we continue to rehab from injuries.
This of course could not have been possible without the support of family and friends.
Also making this easier on me, was the racing motorcycle rentals provided by Brian Bartlow's FEEL LIKE A PRO program. This program allows you to show up like a MotoGP star and have your bike awaiting you. At FEEL LIKE A PRO, they care of fuel, setup, tires and tirewarmers, lunch, snacks, etc. When you pull into the pits, they even put the bike on the stands for you! All I had to do was show up and ride well to pass my testing!
The weather was awesome, the sessions were run well, and the instructor was very informative and helpful.
I can hardly wait to see the green flag drop for real! Hope you all can come out and support our 2011 campaign aboard the FEEL LIKE A PRO Monster Energy Drink Kawasaki Ninja 250!
