geomet acts as part.I of three stages of an ongoing untitled project that I'm working on over the course of the summer (which, in turn, makes up one out of three projects for my thesis). This portion is an audio visualiser influenced by vintage computational and geometric art, using faders to granulate and sequence sound, whilst simultaneously shaping the visual parameters. This video is a small demo of the audio faders influencing the visuals; although not shown, it also has FM sequencer faders.
I hope to eventually export this as an online application at some point! My future plan is to then evolve it, so that it incorporates text to influence the faders and therefore the visual (effectively machine learning). That'd be part.II. The last part will be taking the text and making it a spoken word piece, so that certain words spoken and captured in real-time would be influencing the faders.
