Even in the midst of trials and tribulation, we exercise our faith thru Praise and Worship. As our attitude of the world changes and we can see it filled with God's presence which in turn makes us thankful. This is the right attitude of creatures to their loving Creator. "Let us give thanks to the Lord our God," the people respond. "It is right and just." Often charismatic gatherings spend time singing songs of praise. Praise and Worship demonstrate our commitment to the body of Jesus Christ. It is spiritual enrichment and growth in grace to God.
The Second Vatican Council taught, "The holy people of God shares also in Christ's prophetic office; it spreads abroad a living witness to Him, especially by means of a life of faith and charity and by offering to God a sacrifice of praise, the tribute of lips which give praise to His name." - Vatican II, Lumen Gentium, section 12
