Yorkshire Sculpture Park presents 'Tread Softly', an exhibition exploring childhood, developing identity and family relationships, through artists revisiting and reassessing defining moments and people in their lives. Selected largely from the Arts Council Collection by YSP, as part of the National Partners Programme,
Tread Softly features over 30 works of sculpture, film, photography, and sound within the historic Bothy Gallery. Shown alongside the selection are specially commissioned poems by acclaimed poet and Scottish Makar, Jackie Kay.
Kay's new poem, 'Vault' is inspired by Marion Coutts’ 'For the Fallen' (2011) featuring in the exhibition. Ends 3 September 2017.
