The land, the man's obsession with the sea, the only chance to escape drowning, is what our continents, our borders, have become. Is it a mirage or real refuge? That is the question.
This film was born when a group of artists, actors, professionals and lovers of cinema, migrants and ethnic French people gathered for three weeks to write and collectively produce a short film written in several hands.
They deliver us a film-relay, where each character links to the next, and turns all humanity into scenes of ordinary racism.
Every piece was crafted by the individuals performed which in turn becomes a representation of personal and cultural fear, racism and the separation that dominates the existing borders of our day.
We recognize ourselves by smiling sometimes and then sometimes a little less, but we let ourselves be led with pleasure and what separates us all from being one species. This small film attempts to show the different sides of what it means to exist within these borders.
