Portraits by the Thames

Inspired by James Russell Cant photographer and his portraits work on migrants.

This film reflects elements of migration and identity, the sea is a symbol of carrying a new life at an older age. The dancers explore the self through movement, reflecting on the body at the age of 50/60/70. Time stays still at least for a moment, captured in the film. Time, place and age don't matter as much as the process of finding who they are now as people.
