The ICC Cricket World Cup is the pinnacle of all cricket competition. The 2011 edition was to be held in the cricket-crazy Asian subcontinent, where World Cup fever would swoop from all corners of the world and spread across the host countries.
The on-air look and feel was to showcase not only this fever taking over the land, but also the hyper-vibrant, sensory-overload that is the Indian subcontinent as a whole. The motifs from the World Cup logo were meant to be a starting point, and they themselves were derived from cricketing actions.
