The reason Tony Hawk killed it? This was, obviously, a bold new approach to market the ninth installment of the Tony Hawk game--Proving Ground." He wanted to protect his own personal brand and got nervous about being seen as a human/pigeon hybrid.
The guy that was the first to land a 720 in competition got cold feet.
