Landfills are costly to open, operate and shut down. About 40% of the stuff that goes to landfills doesn't have to end up there. If more people paid attention to the stuff they throw out, or worked toward finding solutions that promote community composting, our landfills would last longer and our local farms & gardens would benefit. It's all about choice.
