When a teacher at Centerpoint School contacted VCAM about helping them get some high-speed footage of a potato launcher a student had built for a physics project, we knew it was going to be a fun video to work on. We reached out to the good folks at Inertia Unlimited and they generously let us borrow a Phantom high speed rig that can shoot up to 7000 frames per second. So we met up with the folks from Centerpoint down at Oakledge Park and shot this little short video about the tests.
Bill Simmon shot and edited the piece. Matt Goudey operated the high speed rig.
