America 1851, Video 1, Building a model of the "America 1851"

I had purchase this kit from Constructo many years ago. With all the excitement of the Americas cup in 2017 I decided it was time to build the kit. When i opened the box i found that powder post beetles had a fun time with some of the parts. So i decided to repair the damaged parts with epoxy and to build a scratch built copy using my hard wood stock by making copies of the various parts.

Scale is 1:56 making the model 27 1/2" long.
