Arthur Lessac (1909-2011) was among the most highly regarded teachers of voice, speech, singing and movement in the training world. Among the three generations of actors, singers, and dancers touched by his teaching are Martin Sheen, Faye Dunaway, Christopher Lloyd, Michael Douglas and Frank Langella.
He served as a distinguished keynote speaker around the country and received numerous honors from colleges, universities and theatre associations nationwide.
In March 2011 he held a workshop at the University of Rijeka in Croatia, at the newly organized Acting, Media and Culture Studies programme.
That was Arthur's last workshop, and this is a small tribute in his memory.
