I wasn't supposed to be the regular shooter for this event, but I still couldn't resist getting out there and "playing" just a bit with my camera.
My plan was to use two Canon 580 EX2 flashes for lighting - one on the camera and the other positioned high up the staircase leading to the balcony. At the higher ISO I was planning to shoot, I thought the shoe mount strobes would work just fine.
I decided to use the little radio transmitter/receiver combo Kerry Garrison of CameraDoJo.com had recommended to me and sent me to try. I have to say, they worked like a charm. How about I show you what I was up too and the results I was getting with my super portable setup. Hit the PLAY button below and enjoy the show.
