The upcoming CJM exhibition "Jewish Folktales Retold: Artist as Maggid" leans on anthologist Howard Schwartz’s "Leaves from the Garden of Eden: One Hundred Classic Jewish Tales (2009),” a compilation of stories from a vast array of countries and centuries. Here, artist Laurel Roth Hope reveals what she was drawn to in the folktales.
