Tegelen is a tool that facilitates reflection through a highly dynamic and interactive process. It is designed in the context of the Eindhoven Municipality to support civil servants and the learning ability of the organisation. Extensive field research in different departments pointed out a need and opportunity to design for reflection.
The ambition was creating an open-ended design that has an analogue style and hands-on approach, grounded in ample desk research. Tegelen is generic in its use through a structured process with reflection questions per phase and inspirational cards consisting of illustrations, sentences, materials and photos. Validations pointed that Tegelen gives dynamic guidance for participants and the facilitator during group as individual reflection sessions.
