A Christmas Party, and 3 portraits
This set of portraits is filmed mostly in Gustavo Faraco's style (see the films '4 Rolls' and 'Still'), but with a looser feel as the occasion suggested. The portraits begin at a party of film makers on Christmas Day ('The Immigrant's Christmas'), then shifts to 3 different portraits filmed in early 2011. Most subjects were on a journey of some kind when filmed.
Filmed and edited by Michael McLennan. One of the shots in there was by Vitor Queiroz too.
Film was 200 feet of Kodak TriX 16mm B/W Reversal. Largely ungraded.
Music is Armand Amar's 'La Vie S'En Va' from Sagan. Thankfully he was not offended by the usage. :) (Used with permission.)
