The spot is a nod to the tone of the classic "This Is SportsCenter" vibe, where the viewer is brought into an absurd world, which is seen as perfectly normal to those living in.
Three terrible golfers-all paying homage to classic "characters" from Golf-centric films, are practicing driving, trying to land a shot in a brand-new Chevy truck.
After several failed attempts, instead of driving around once again, Dr. Osborne pops out of the driver's seat, and suggestions our golfer's join the event as volunteers instead.
Originally conceived as a web-only spot, the Pinnacle Championship was so taken with the spot, they elected to take it to regional broadcast.
