Modern Slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. The International Labour Organisation estimates that there are 45.8 million victims of modern slavery worldwide, with potentially 13,000 victims living in the UK. As responsible co-operative businesses and employers, it is important to take all practical steps to prevent and detect modern slavery.
