The Architecture Foundation, together with the South Kilburn Neighbourhood Trust and Practice Architecture regenerated the site of 2a Canterbury Road in South Kilburn, London, transforming this building into a series of studio spaces available to those in the creative industries.
The tenants of South Kilburn Studios pledge – in lieu of rent payments – to train a young person from the local area, helping them learn the skills of their profession and build a portfolio in their chosen trade.
