The abandoned Reservoir #3 has been reclaimed by nature and become a stunning example of wildlife and wetlands in our dense, urban city. While progress has been made to preserve the Reservoir’s natural and historic treasures as a park, there remain additional steps to secure its future. Most important is to add the remaining 4 acres of the 13-acre site to the city’s open space and parks inventory, providing increased protection from development. What are we waiting for?
