Digital Korobkas (rus. — Boxes) — a revolutionary scouting system for non-professional football players created specially for the first edition of NIKE K11 project.
Football korobkas were equipped with video cameras, special buttons allowing players to fix the best moments of the game and a set of touch-screens where teams could register for further games.
Even though the system was super complex at the backend, for consumers - the mechanic was simple and clear: if you played it nicely, you can push the button and the video of you kicking ass on the pitch would be sent to the scouts.
We enabled 1,600 games where players created 10,000 personal videos from three digital korobkas in Moscow and St. Petersburg in just one month. Best of the best players were selected by scouts and got their opportunity to be tried out in big football.
