Modern day flight is generally very easy. Jets cruise at about 900km/h. But what if your aircraft can only fly at a maximum of 70? Follow this uplifting and inspiring tale as 4 friends take on the challenge of flying Paramotors the length of Britain.
(Jakes Notes.
When Alex phoned me up one week before the trip started and asked if I'd like to be part of and film a group of Paramotorist fly from John O Groats to Lands End, I couldn't say no. The day before we left Alex gave me my first Paramotor lesson. The challenge of making this film was demanding to say the least. Paramotoring across some of the most amazing scenery in the UK, whilst trying to film at the same time pushed me to the edge of my comfort box. I made a wonderful set of friends and we had such a great laugh doing this.
Being with Cayle and his indomitable spirit really opened my eyes to what any individual can battle through and go on to achieve, he is a man like no other!
Thanks to Rob and Juliet, they were the unsung hero's of this trip. There job to follow the team overland, whilst suppling the team with fuel and food. You both rock!
More than anything I hope you enjoy the sentiment of this film. I found it very hard to edit it down to 12 minuets, as so much happened along the way. It was an incredible journey over our very beautiful country.)
