The beginning story behind my running, Ironman Triathlon and Ultrarunning events. 230+ Marathons, Ultramarathons and Ironman Triathlons in the last 5 years and still going. Motivation to keep going no matter what the odds.
They laughed at me when I said I wanted to start running at 315lbs.
They laughed when I said I would drop the weight to do it.
They told me after the cancer, the arthritis and after tearing my ankle tendon completely off the bone, I would never run distances over 5 miles.
They laughed when I said how inspired I was by running.
They laughed when I said I would do a marathon just to try and feel better.
They laughed at me. They will laugh at you. Let them laugh.
