During LP21's performance engagement at the 2017 Smithsonian Folklife Festival, the group was invited to participate in a panel discussion, hosted by the Latino Heritage Center's "On the Move" curatorial project. The panel was meant to capture 100 years of Puerto Ricans living in the Diaspora, post Jones Act era.
